A WORLD OF HUMANS AND MASKS

When i had to leave the house. The hat is for the extremely hot sun.

Mr. Williams, my next door neighbor sneezed once and I was immediately as alert as a dog. By the time he sneezed the second time I was already imagining various situations and strategizing escape routes. It took a pandemic to shake the whole world and change our lifestyle. Abnormalities such as wearing a mask is about to become a normality. We are at a point where coughing and sneezing cannot be handled as lightly as it used to be. It has become a necessity to adapt to the situation though.

Let us talk about your fashion statement; what style are you rocking if your mask is missing. What way are you taking to slay your mask without looking hideous? How about promoting your mask design with the influence of a celebrity. Oh yeah, a top celebrity with a huge fan base can make an ugly piece sell out really fast. The mask it up challenge is about to become a challenge of who can slay the mask better since everyone now has to wear it. I guess we will be seeing masked people on our fashion magazines soon.

Moving on to our ladies of the make-up world; are we about to have make up that will not clean off under the mask or we will be seeing ladies with half made-up faces. Can making up really be stopped by the pandemic? I doubt it because we are humans and are always improvising.

Miss Matilda is a single lady that lives down the street. She is hoping to find love and I hope she does find love but Miss Matilda is still under the fear of the pandemic. I guess we will be needing a way by which Miss Matilda can find love whilst practicing social distancing. We all hope Miss Matilda will learn to survive through this and not have to practice online/virtual dating till her online/virtual wedding and the birth of her online/virtual babies.

Pictures! Pictures!! Pictures!!! The tongue out family are going to be having their tongue in for a while now if they are going to be sticking to the mask rule. No one wants to have their tongue out when anyone around could suddenly sneeze. Perhaps the pouting squad are somewhat safer.

Once upon a time, I used to blame my unproductivity on not having much time; but now that I have a whole lot of time, I still am too lazy for the productive stuffs I should be doing. There really has been a lot of eye opening in various sectors of life.

The summary of all this is that we will all have to adapt one way or the other till the pandemic fades away slowly. Social lives, jobs, education system, businesses and so on will have to find better ways to stay alive till it is over. So the quicker we start finding ways to adapt, the better for all. I want us all to live through this so we can one day tell the story of how we survived the days.

What do you think of a framed picture of me wearing a mask for my great grandkids to see and have as a family property to be passed down to generations?

PS: If you are reading this in the future and time travelling has become a thing, do not travel back to 2020 except it is necessary!!! Even we do not go out unless it is necessary 😔
